How long does Trimlight last?

Trimlight typically lasts between 20 and 30 years under normal seasonal (nighttime-only) usage, supported by a lifetime product warranty. In moderate daily use, the LEDs can reach up to 50,000 hours, translating to roughly 7–8 years if run 12–16 hours per day, or 30–40 years if used only seasonally.

How do they look during the day?

Trimlight uses a color-matched aluminum channel designed to blend with your home’s roofline and trim, making the system nearly invisible by day while hiding wires and creating a refined, architectural effect.

How much electricity do they use?

Each standard Trimlight bulb consumes 0.6 watts, with the newer 3-LED version using 0.9 watts per bulb. On a typical 200-foot installation, this equates to around 120–400 watts total, costing only $0.06–$0.20 for 3–8 hours of nightly use—significantly more efficient than incandescent lighting.
